Fabio Biasella joins Engage Fi as director of strategic services

Fabio Biasella has joined Engage Fi, a St. Petersburg, FL-based financial services consultancy, as director of strategic services. He is based in Dothan, AL.

In his new role, Biasella will oversee the strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions, and performance benchmarking line of business. He will drive client strategy engagements that include consultations, scenario planning, and executive roadmap development, as well as M&A support, client performance benchmarking, and thought leadership initiatives.

Biasella brings more than 30 years of experience in retail banking, with a focus on strategy and financial analysis. He most recently served as chief marketing officer at Five Star Credit Union in Alabama and Travis Credit Union in California. Before that, Biasella spent 16 years with Raddon, a financial services research and consulting firm, where he was latterly vice president of the strategic advisory services practice.

He has an MBA from Marquette University and a bachelor’s degree in baking, corporate, finance, and securities law from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Founded in 2014, Engage Fi supports banks and credit unions with strategic planning sessions and vendor assessments, pricing negotiations, and contract reviews. The firm has capabilities across credit and debit, online banking and mobile, technology, insurance, and loyalty programs.
