EY acquires IT consulting firm Nuvalence
EY US has acquired Nuvalence, a Troy, NY-based IT consulting firm.
Founded in 2018, Nuvalence has a team of more than 140 engineers, product managers, and architects in the US, Canada, and Colombia. The firm has practices in technology advisory, modernization, digital platforms and products, and data-driven platform development.
Nuvalence’s recent project work includes building an AI-embedded platform for an automotive manufacturer to help it centralize its digital fleet management.
“Nuvalence has always applied our deep technical expertise to some of the hardest problems our clients face as they transform themselves into platform and AI-centric organizations. We are incredibly excited to continue and scale this mission as part of EY," said Rakesh Malhotra, co-founder and managing partner of Nuvalence.
EY’s acquisition of Nuvalence will strengthen its delivery of platform engineering, product development, and generative AI services.
"We are thrilled to welcome Nuvalence," said Raj Sharma, vice chair for consulting, EY Americas. "EY US has tremendous strength in providing robust solutions for the AI-enabled future with technology at the center. With the addition of this team, we have increased our engineering capabilities to provide clients with state-of-the-art AI platforms and products that will bring their AI vision to reality."
EY last year announced a $1.4 billion investment into artificial intelligence. The global accounting and consulting network also said it would train its entire 400,000-employee workforce on using AI.
