Capco hires Karl Canty as partner in insurance practice
Capco, a financial services sector consulting firm, has hired Karl Canty as a Hartford, CT-based partner in its insurance practice.
Canty brings over 20 years of insurance product, technology, and transformation experience to Capco, where he will focus on building client relationships, driving sales, and delivering value to insurers.
He has extensive experience scaling data, technology, cyber, and operations strategies for the world's largest financial services organizations.
Canty joins Capco from IT consultancy EXL, where he spent the last five years as VP for insurance data and AI. Before that, he spent five years in EY’s insurance advisory services business, leading teams focused on operational transformation and strategy.
Canty also previously spent four years at PwC, where he was a senior advisory consultant in the financial services strategy & operations practice.
Earlier in his career, Canty worked in annuities sales at Prudential Financial and was a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley.
He has an MBA from Villanova University and a bachelor’s degree from Stetson University.
