DLA hires Eleonora Tinoco as managing director in accounting advisory division

DLA LLC, a Fairfield, NJ-headquartered internal audit and accounting advisory firm, has hired Eleonora Tinoco as a managing director in its accounting advisory division.

Based in New York, Tinoco will provide oversight and strategic management in financial accounting areas such as embedded derivatives and bifurcation of convertible securities, stock-based compensation, fair-value measurements, and purchase-price allocations.

She joins DLA from Marshall & Stevens, where she spent six years and was a managing director in the financial valuation and consulting practice. Before that, Tinoco was a senior manager in the valuation practices of CohnReznick and BDO USA.

She has a master’s degree in finance and financial analysis from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Florida International University.
