Jan Siegmund joins Marsh McLennan’s board of directors
Jan Siegmund, former CFO of Cognizant Technology Solutions, has joined the board of Marsh McLennan, a New York-headquartered professional services firm.
Siegmund’s appointment, which was announced on July 10, will expand Marsh McLennan’s board to 12 members.
Based in New York, Siegmund brings over 30 years of experience in corporate finance, strategy, and consulting. He most recently spent three years at Cognizant, where he served as CFO until his retirement in early 2024. Before that, he spent two decades at ADP, a provider of human capital management software, where he held increasingly senior roles. Siegmund served as CFO, chief strategy officer, and president for value added services.
He began his career at McKinsey & Company, where he spent five years and was a senior engagement manager.
Siegmund has a PhD in economics from the Dresden University of Technology, Germany, and a master’s degree in economics from UC Santa Barbara.
He is currently a member of Western Union’s board of directors.
