Mahin Samadani joins Public Sapient as SVP for experience AI growth

Mahin Samadani has joined Publicis Sapient, a Boston-headquartered digital consulting firm, in the newly created role of senior vice president for experience AI growth. He is based in San Francisco.
Samadani brings nearly 30 years of expertise at the intersection of design, business, and technology to Publicis Sapient, where he will work with the experience practice and global leadership team to drive AI and experience-led digital business transformation.
Samadani most recently spent three years with Google, where he focused on experience-led cloud and AI transformation for Google Cloud customers. Before that he spent over seven years at McKinsey, where he was a partner who co-founded and led the design practice.
Prior to that, Samadani was an SVP at Fjord (now Accenture Song), where he started and led the San Francisco studio. Earlier in his career, Samadani was business development director at Frog Design (now Capgemini Invent) and a strategist at Scient (now Publicis Sapient).
He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Mahin and continue growing our global team,” said Jennifer Kilian, co-chief experience officer at Publicis Sapient. “Mahin’s expertise will build upon our strong foundation and enable us to accelerate growth with innovative AI and human experiences that further our success in AI-driven digital business transformation, while addressing our clients’ evolving needs.”
Public Sapient is the digital consulting arm of ad agency network Publicis. The firm has 20,000 people across 50+ global offices providing services in strategy, product, experience, engineering, and data and AI.
“As we fully enter the era of AI transformation, Publicis Sapient has the right blend of capabilities, leadership and vision to be the premier partner for organizations seeking to create a new generation of meaningful experiences,” Samadani said. “The time is now for every company to become an AI company and transition from imagination to realization."
