Coker acquires Health Care Program Advisors

Coker, an Atlanta-based healthcare consulting firm, has acquired Health Care Program Advisors (HCPA), an Atlanta-based boutique healthcare consulting firm.
Founded in 2002, HCPA has a team of 13 people, according to its website. The firm provides hospitals and health systems with advisory services in performance excellence, revenue cycle management, healthcare IT systems, and business intelligence and analytics.
HCPA has worked with clients such as Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
“We have spent the last year getting to know the leaders of HCPA and gaining a greater appreciation for their organization's corporate values, highly skilled people, and strong client base. They are a natural fit for Coker, equipping us with the skills and resources for where we desire to grow," said Justin Chamblee, president of Coker.
Trinity Hunt Partners, a Dallas-based private equity firm, in March 2024 announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Coker.
The HCPA acquisition is the third bolt-on to Coker, which is Trinity Hunt’s healthcare advisory services platform.
Trinity Hunt invests in business, healthcare, and consumer services companies, and has over $2 billion of assets under management.
“Joining Coker is a major milestone in the future growth and development of HCPA and we are excited to be part of a premier healthcare consulting platform," said Scott Leavell, managing partner of Health Care Program Advisors.
Coker was founded in 1987 and has more than 190 employees across offices in Atlanta and Nashville. The firm advises hospitals and physician enterprises on performance transformation, transaction advisory, and compliance.
