Benet Kearney joins Nardello & Co.'s New York office as managing director

Benet Kearney, a former assistant US attorney, has joined the New York headquarters of Nardello & Co., an investigations consulting firm, as a managing director.

Kearney will advise on white collar criminal defense, anti-corruption and fraud investigations, and litigation and arbitration engagements.

She spent the last decade in the US attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York (SDNY)’s criminal division. Kearney most recently served as deputy chief of the Capitol Siege section.

During her time at SDNY, she investigated and prosecuted financial institutions for sanctions and Bank Secrecy Act violations and a racketeering enterprise for an identity theft and fraudulent financing scheme. Kearney has extensive expertise in investigating and prosecuting individuals and corporations for criminal and civil matters involving fraud, money laundering, sanctions, asset forfeiture, and white-collar issues.

Earlier in her career, Kearney was deputy general counsel at the New York City department of investigation and a litigation associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.

She has a JD from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University.
