OneDigital Health and Benefits buys HR consultancy Paradigm Group
Leading US benefits brokerage and consultancy One Digital has acquired Nashville’s Paradigm Group. Paradigm provides advisory support in the areas of benefits and retirement plans. The deal reinforces OneDigital’s footprint and capabilities in Nashville, where the firm already has one office.
Founded in 2000, Atlanta-based OneDigital is the country’s largest company focused exclusively on employee benefits and HR. The firm brokers employee benefits products – including dental, vision, disability, accidental death, etc. – to companies of all sizes, while also providing a suite of related advisory services, analytics, compliance support, and human resources tools.
OneDigital employs over 1,400 people in 74 offices across the US, and serves 38,000 clients. The insurance broking and advisory firm currently manages almost $4.5 billion in premiums.
In September, the company acquired LMG International, a benefits consulting and brokerage firm focusing on US Department of Defense contractors. Now, OneDigital has followed up that transaction with the acquisition of Nashville-based human resources consultancy Paradigm Group.
The acquired firm provides solutions in the areas of employee benefits, compliance, health and wellbeing, employee education, and HR technology. The team at Paradigm Group work with client HR managers to provide strategic guidance in the creation of competitive and compliant employee benefits and retirement plans.
The deal will see Paradigm Group rebranded as OneDigital Tennessee, with Paradigm Group leader Bob Levy continuing to lead the office as a managing principal.

Fast-growing OneDigital expects to continue expanding its operations in the US in the next 12-24 months. The company has been named to Inc. Magazine’s List of America’s 5000 fastest-growing companies every year since 2007.

OneDigital’s Tennessee footprint includes offices in Knoxville, Memphis, and Nashville.
