RSM sells professional services+ practice to Aprio

RSM, a national mid-market accounting and consulting firm, has agreed to sell its professional services+ (PS+) practice to Aprio, an Atlanta-based accounting and consulting firm.

The transaction is expected to close on April 30, 2025.

RSM’s PS+ practice operates in the US and Canada and provides solutions for professional services firms. Serving nearly 80 firms, the practice delivers resources and advisory services in strategy and leadership, talent development, business processes and operations, and access to group buying solutions.

Dean Sengstock, head of the PS+ practice, will continue to lead the practice and will join Aprio as partner alongside four other partners and more than 30 team members.

Aprio has more than 2,100 people across 25 offices. The firm provides accounting, advisory, and tax services to clients in manufacturing and distribution, non-profit and education, professional services, real estate, construction, restaurant and hospitality, government contracting, and technology.

Aprio is the 26th-largest CPA firm in the US, according to Inside Public Accounting, with annual revenue of $420.8 million.
