FTI Consulting adds Isabella More as managing director in strategic communications segment

FTI Consulting, a Washington, DC-headquartered management consulting firm, has hired Isabella More as a managing director in its crisis and litigation communications practice within its strategic communications segment.
Based in DC, More brings over a decade of strategic communications experience focusing on government investigations, congressional oversight, legislative affairs, and reputational crises.
She most recently served as deputy assistant secretary for oversight in the legislative office of the US Treasury Department, where she was responsible for protecting the reputational interests of the department.
Before that, More served as counsel at the Ways and Means Committee of the US House of Representatives and at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. In the roles, More was responsible for strategy and execution on major litigation and oversight matters to ensure favorable media coverage.
Earlier in her career, More was an associate in the asset management group of law firm Fried Frank.
She has a JD and bachelor’s degree from Yale University.
“Isabella will draw upon her extensive experience in government, Congress, and the private sector to serve as a trusted advisor to clients in times of crisis or transformation,” said Myron Marlin, Americas head of crisis and litigation communications at FTI Consulting. “Isabella will help us to further strengthen our industry-recognized capabilities in litigation support and crisis and risk management.”
More added, “Whether clients are facing litigation, a government investigation or a reputational crisis, I look forward to helping them navigate a complex legal and regulatory landscape to ensure they are communicating effectively with their most important stakeholders.”
FTI earlier this month hired Scott Cockerham as a senior managing director in its corporate finance and restructuring segment.
