KPMG appoints Jody Love as leader of Baltimore office

KPMG US has appointed Jody Love as managing partner of its Baltimore office, effective June 1, 2025.
Love succeeds Christine Aspell, who is retiring in September after 35 years with the Big Four accountancy. Aspell served as leader of the Baltimore office for the last 10 years.
In his new role, Love will oversee strategic direction and growth of the Baltimore market, as well as the career development of 220+ partners and professionals.
Love joined KPMG’s Baltimore office in 1995 and was named a partner in 2010. He is an audit partner in the healthcare and life sciences practice, a member of the national healthcare audit leadership team, and a member of the Mid-Atlantic audit leadership team.
Love has an MBA from Loyola University Maryland and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is a certified public accountant.
“I am honored to continue working with our tremendous team of partners and professionals to help our clients adapt and thrive in today’s dynamic environment,” said Love. “Having grown up here, the Baltimore community means everything to me. I look forward to deepening our relationships in the market, building on our firm’s strong culture, and supporting this community.”
