Chatham Financial adds Mike Noonan as managing director in New York office
Chatham Financial, a financial risk management advisory and technology firm, has hired Mike Noonan as a managing director in its execution and analysis practice in New York City.
In his new role, Noonan will partner with Chatham’s product, technology, and advisory teams to launch solutions that integrate AI and technology with the company’s risk and capital advisory services.
He brings more than 20 years of experience in financial services, fintech, SaaS, and private equity. Noonan joins from J.P. Morgan, where he spearheaded fintech strategy and investments and drove cost efficiencies and large-scale technology initiatives for the investment bank.
Before that, he was chief operating and financial officer at Sentieo, a venture-backed AI fintech that was acquired by AlphaSense. Earlier in his career, Noonan was VP of operations at AI firm Clarifai, a principal at private equity firm PPC Enterprises, and an associate at Eos Partners.
He has an MBA and JD from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree from Duke University, and was a Fulbright Scholar.
“Mike Noonan brings a wealth of experience transitioning companies from services to SaaS models, managing global P&Ls, and delivering innovative, AI-driven client-centric solutions," said Matt Henry, Chatham’s CEO. "I am confident that he will help further fortify Chatham’s position as a technology-driven innovator that provides world-class advisory insights."
Founded in 1991, Chatham helps clients mitigate risks associated with interest rate, currency, debt, commodity, and data exposures. The firm has practices in capital advisory, interest rate risk management, foreign currency risk management, commodity risk management, hedge accounting, valuation, regulatory compliance advisory, debt management, and defeasance and prepayment.
Chatham works with 3,500+ companies in a wide range of industries. The firm has over 800 employees across offices in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
“The opportunity to pair sophisticated technology with the unmatched expertise of Chatham’s financial risk management and execution team is truly exciting," Noonan said.
Chatham earlier this year welcomed Lorelei Lenzen as chief marketing officer.
