Vantage Leadership Consulting appoints Jacqueline Ackerman as managing partner

Vantage Leadership Consulting, a Chicago-based leadership consulting firm, has appointed Jacqueline Ackerman as its managing partner.

Ackerman, who began her consulting career at Vantage in 2002, will become the fourth managing partner in the firm’s 50-year history, and the first woman to lead the firm.

“Our legacy has always been about trust, long-term partnerships, and developing exceptional leaders,” Ackerman said. “I look forward to protecting that foundation while ensuring we continue to evolve and set the standard for exemplary consulting services.”

Ackerman succeeds Keith Goudy, who led Vantage for the last decade. He will remain at the boutique firm as an active member of the partner group.

“Jacki was the clear choice to lead Vantage into its next era,” Goudy said. “She brings not only deep expertise in the full suite of our services, but also a spirit of partnership and energy that inspires colleagues and clients alike.”

As managing partner, Ackerman will oversee the firm’s strategy and operations while remaining closely engaged with clients.

Ackerman, who joined Vantage’s partner group in 2013, has advised clients across industries on team assessment and development, individual assessment and coaching, succession and talent management, and the design and implementation of leadership development programs.

She holds a PhD and master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from Wayne State University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Purdue University.

Vantage was founded in 1976 and has 31 employees listed on its website. The firm provides services in selection and development assessments, executive coaching, leadership competency models, succession planning, high-performance teams, and culture audits and stocktaking.
