Compensation Advisory Partners hires Lindsey Baker as marketing head

Compensation Advisory Partners, a national executive compensation consulting firm, has hired Lindsey Baker as its first chief marketing officer.

Based in the firm’s New York headquarters, Baker brings over 20 years of experience focusing on board effectiveness, board education, partnerships, and event management.

She previously spent two years with Accenture, where she was senior manager for board effectiveness and sustainability. In the role, Baker developed a board governance framework and led workshops for executives and board members.

Before that, Baker spent nine years with the National Association of Corporate Directors, latterly as director of partner relations. At the association, Baker managed sponsor partnerships and developed programs for governance best practices.

Earlier in her career, she spent six years with Club Managers Association of America, where she was manager of business relations.

Baker has a bachelor’s degree in business-marketing from Elon University.

As CMO, Baker will guide CAP’s brand management, thought leadership, strategic partnerships, and business development support.
