Tata Consultancy Services and AMD to develop joint enterprise AI offerings
Tata Consultancy Services, a Mumbai-headquartered IT consulting firm, and AMD, a US-based semiconductor firm, have entered a strategic collaboration to help enterprises scale AI adoption.
Together, TCS and AMD will co-develop industry-specific AI and GenAI solutions to help organizations modernize legacy environments and build digital workplaces.
TCS has 580,000 people globally and extensive industry expertise, systems integration capabilities, and a global innovation ecosystem. AMD, a leading semiconductor manufacturer, brings its portfolio of high-performance computing and AI products.
Industry-specific GenAI frameworks will be created for drug discovery, cognitive quality engineering and smart manufacturing, and financial services intelligent risk management. The partners will also deliver tailored accelerators, frameworks, and best practices to boost AI performance in training and inference workloads.
Additionally, TCS will upskill and certify its employees on AMD hardware and software technologies.

Under the collaboration, TCS will use AMD EPYC CPUs, AMD Instinct GPUs, and AI accelerators to modernize hybrid cloud and high-performance computing environments.
