Altman Solon promotes Robert Elliott to associate partner

Altman Solon, a Boston-headquartered telecom, media, and technology (TMT) sector consulting firm, has promoted Robert Elliott to associate partner.

Based in Dallas, Elliott has 12 years of experience focusing on M&A and transaction diligence, growth strategy, go-to-market strategy, commercial contract negotiations, and post-merger integration.

He joined Altman Solon in 2021 as a manager and was named a principal in 2023. Elliott previously spent three years with Deloitte Consulting, where he was a manager in the strategy and operations practice focusing on TMT transactions.

Earlier in his career, Elliot spent four years with oil and gas firm Newfield Exploration, where he was a landman.

He holds an MBA from Rice University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Oklahoma.

Altman Solon was formed in 2020 through the merger of US consultancy Altman Vilandrie & Company with Europe-based Solon Management Consulting. The firm says it is the largest strategy consulting firm exclusively focused on the TMT sector.

Altman Solon has more than 650 employees listed on LinkedIn and offices in North America, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific. The firm has practices in strategy, go-to-market, M&A and private equity, operation and transformation, and network planning.
