Mike McGillicuddy joins FTI Consulting as managing director
Mike McGillicuddy, a former FBI official, has joined FTI Consulting as a managing director in the risk and investigations practice in Washington, DC.
McGillicuddy brings more than 28 years of experience in financial crime investigations and litigation support, with expertise in leading inquiries in securities and commodities fraud, investment fraud, bank fraud, cryptocurrency schemes, corruption, and money laundering.
He spent the last 20 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where he was a supervisory special agent focusing on complex financial crimes. McGillicuddy established the Bureau’s first dedicated money laundering unit and managed national programs for financial institution fraud, asset forfeiture, and money laundering.
Prior to his tenure with the FBI, McGillicuddy spent eight years with Charles River Associates, where he was a director focusing on valuation and litigation support for IP and commercial disputes.
He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and is a certified public accountant and certified fraud examiner.
