Mike Collins returns to Proudfoot as managing partner

Mike Collins has re-joined Proudfoot as a managing partner, bringing more than three decades of experience to the international consulting company.

Based in Orlando, Mike Collins has more than 35 years of experience leading operational improvement and business transformation initiatives across capital‑intensive industries. At Proudfoot, he serves as a senior leader in the Mining, Metals & Manufacturing, which serves clients in the Americas and globally.

Collins joins Proudfoot from consultancy firm Skovinen, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Earlier in his career, he worked at several consultancies, including North Highland, Myrtle Consulting Group (acquired by Accenture in 2020), and Jamieson Group (an Australia-headquartered performance improvement specialist).

He previously had two stints at Proudfoot, first as a junior between 2007 and 2010, and latterly in the role of partner before his departure around a decade ago.

Welcoming Collins back to the firm, Proudfoot shared on LinkedIn, “Some people don’t just join a company. They come home. We’re thrilled to welcome Mike back to Proudfoot as managing partner for mining, metals and manufacturing.”

Founded in 1946, Proudfoot is an international management consultancy with deep specialization in operational excellence and performance improvement. The firm operates across the Americas, the UK, Europe, Asia and South Africa.
