Alpha FMC adds Charles Cummin as senior partner in New York
Alpha FMC, a London-headquartered financial services sector consulting firm, has hired Charles Cummins as a senior partner in its wealth management practice in New York.
Cummins will lead efforts to expand the firm’s presence in the North American wealth management market – deepening relationships with bank-owned wealth managers and wirehouse firms and enhancing delivery capabilities.
He brings 15 years of experience in financial services consulting, with expertise across wealth management operating models and transformation.
Cummins joins Alpha FMC from EY, where he spent over 12 years and was a principal in wealth and asset management consulting. At EY, he worked on performance improvement engagements and helped strengthen the practice’s core delivery capabilities.
Before that, Cummins spent two-and-a-half years at PwC, where he was a senior associate working on consulting engagements with financial services clients.
He has an MBA from Georgetown University.
“We are delighted to welcome Charles to the team. His experience advising leading global wealth managers will be invaluable as we support our clients in navigating an increasingly complex and evolving market environment,” said Matt Harris, senior partner and head of wealth management consulting – North America.
Alpha FMC was founded in 2003 and has more than 1,500 people across North America, EMEA, and APAC. The firm provides strategy, management, and technology consulting services to asset management, wealth management, and insurance clients.
“Combining deep domain expertise with global scale, Alpha is uniquely positioned to deliver in complex, high-stakes transformations,” Cummins said. “I look forward to accelerating growth in the Wealth Management sector – particularly across bank-led wealth managers – and strengthening Alpha’s position as the partner of choice for the industry’s most ambitious firms.”
