Elizabeth Freeman joins Sia Partners as managing director in Chicago

Elizabeth Freeman, an experienced banking and capital markets leader, has joined consulting firm Sia Partners as a managing director in the financial services data and AI solutions practice in Chicago.

With a background in equities, commodities, and options trading, Freeman brings more than two decades of experience in financial services to Sia. She has deep expertise in data strategy, business transformation, operating model strategy, technology transformation, and growth and innovation.

Freeman previously spent nearly three years with Deloitte, where she was a specialist leader in strategy and analytics within the banking and capital markets sector. Before that, she spent 21 years with CME Group, where she was head of derived data services. She also held senior roles in global data licensing and IP and product strategy.

Earlier in her career, Freeman was a commodity options trader at TransMarket Group, USA Trading, and Rand Financial Services.

She has a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from Ohio State University.
