Deloitte buys Wavicle Data Solutions

Deloitte has acquired Wavicle Data Solutions, a Chicago-based data and AI engineering consultancy.

Founded in 2013, Wavicle provides solutions in AI readiness assessment, data management and analytics modernization, and AI integration. The firm’s technology partners include Databricks, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Wavicle has more than 480 employees listed on LinkedIn.

Deloitte’s acquisition of Wavicle will bolster its Databricks practice. The Big Four consultancy was named a 2026 Databricks partner award winner in three categories for consulting and system integration.

Deloitte is the largest accounting and consulting firm in the US, with approximately 181,000 employees and annual revenue of $35.7 billion.
