Delta Consulting Group, a Washington, DC-based risk and dispute consulting firm, has acquired Osborne Partners, a London-headquartered risk and dispute consulting firm.

Founded in 2018, Osborne advises on arbitration, economic regulation, public policy, commercial strategy, and litigation. The boutique firm has practices in disputes, valuation, competition and regulation, and business intelligence and investigations.

Osborne has 46 employees listed on LinkedIn and offices in London, Dubai, Singapore, and Mumbai.

Delta’s acquisition of Osborne, which completed on August 14, will expand its physical presence into the Middle East and Asia. The deal will expand the firm’s office footprint to the UAE, Singapore, and India, as well as add a second location in London.

Prior to the acquisition of Osborne, Delta had offices in the US, Canada, UK, and Spain.

The transaction will grow Delta’s headcount to 197 professionals worldwide.

“This is an important moment in Delta’s evolution,” said Darin Buchalter, CEO of Delta Consulting Group. “We are building a company with the scale, expertise and geographic reach to support clients wherever their most complex challenges arise. Osborne Partners gives us an established presence in several of the world’s most important business and dispute-resolution markets and positions Delta for the next stage of our growth.”

Delta was founded in 2000 and works with law firms, government agencies, and corporations on technical and financial matters. The firm has practices in disputes and expert testimony, investigations and forensics, insurance and recovery, construction, and project advisory and business solutions.

“Delta and Osborne Partners are highly complementary businesses that share a commitment to rigorous analysis, clear communication and exceptional client service,” said Chris Osborne, managing director of Osborne Partners. “By joining Delta, we are giving our clients access to a broader range of expertise and resources while preserving the relationships, responsiveness and quality they expect from Osborne Partners.”
