Deltek names BDO its consulting partner of the year

Deltek has named professional services firm BDO its global consulting partner of the year. “Our relationship with Deltek is a true partnership that enables us to deliver quality results to our clients as one team,” Dave Scott, a managing director at BDO, said.

With millions of users from more than 23,000 client organizations, Deltek is one of the largest providers of enterprise software and PSA solutions for project-based businesses. Dozens of the world’s top accounting, consulting, law and engineering firms use Deltek’s information solutions to run their projects, internal operations, and for collaboration.

Like other large software vendors, Deltek has a partner ecosystem which consists of resellers, systems integrators, implementation specialists, outsourced managed services providers and technology firms. At the firm’s annual Global Partner event, which was recently held in the US, Deltek recognizes the extraordinary work and contributions of partners, with the top performing partners handed a "Partner of the Year" award across eight categories.

 

BDO was named "Global Consulting Partner of the Year." The accounting and consulting firm has more than 15 years of experience implementing the Deltek solutions, and has worked directly with Deltek as a consulting partner for more than  three years. BDO works with Deltek to implement Deltek’s Project Portfolio Management and Enterprise Resource Planning solutions, with the firm’s track record boasting more than 400 clients, ranging from emerging businesses to government institutions and Fortune 100 companies.

According to Matt Strazza, senior vice president of global sales at Deltek, BDO owed its success to its deep technology expertise as well as collaborative, team-oriented partnership with Deltek, which enabled the partners to help Deltek customers deliver successful projects. BDO’s Deltek offering is provided by its technology arm. The firm’s consultants offer support for tasks including software installation, configuration planning and design, legacy data conversions, implementation, integration tools, and onsite training and support services

BDO was among seven partners honored through eight awards for their extraordinary work. The others were Full Sail Partners, Premier Consulting & Integration, Silversoft (two awards), Corporate Results, Telus Employer Solutions and DRMcNatty & Associates. 

BDO last month acquired two consultancies – business continuity specialist Lootok and trade regulation expert Global Trade Strategies.
