Indianapolis-based management and technology consultancy KSM Consulting (KSMC) has promoted Natalie Litera to chief operating officer, and John Roach to chief revenue officer and executive vice president of data analytics.

Massive growth over the past five years saw KSMC attract the attention of Renovus Capital Partners, which acquired a majority stake in the company in April. As part of the transaction, KSMC president Mark Caswell was promoted to CEO. Now, the company has also filled the COO and CRO roles with new promotions.

As COO, Natalie Litera will lead KSMC’s operational functions, including finance, HR, legal, IT, and administration. Most recently, she led KSMC’s office expansion to a new innovation center (KSMC111) at Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis. She rejoined the consultancy in 2017 after serving as director of operations at porta-potty rental firm Service Sanitation for nearly four years.
KSM Consulting appoints new COO and CROLitera started her consulting career in 2011 as a marketing coordinator at KSMC, moving on to serve as an operations manager. She holds a master’s degree in organizational communication and a bachelor’s degree in communication from Purdue University.

As CRO and EVP of data analytics, John Roach will continue to lead the data analytics team in uncovering business insights and delivering predictive models to public and private sector clients. Roach launched the data analytics practice in 2012, and has since supported a number of government agencies in tackling pressing challenges, including criminal recidivism, the opioid crisis, and cross-governmental data sharing.

Prior to joining KSMC in 2011, Roach spent almost six years at Rolls-Royce North America, where he was a senior design engineer, and then a project manager. Before that, he was an investment reviewer and analyst at the Indiana 21st Century Research and Technology Fund.

Roach holds an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, an MS in mechanical engineering from Purdue, and a BS in mechanical engineering from Oklahoma State.

“Litera and Roach are dynamic leaders and invaluable members of the KSMC team,” said CEO Mark Caswell. “They are both trailblazers within our organization, and I’m excited to lead KSMC into its next phase of growth alongside such strategic thinkers.”

Building on its acquisition by Renovus, KSMC plans to hire up to 30 new employees at its Indianapolis headquarters in the near term. The firm is looking to hire project managers, data analysts, and IT consultants, among other roles.
