Kepler appoints Jason Mallory as managing director for North America

Kepler, a consulting firm specializing in operational margin optimizations, has appointed Jason Mallory as managing director of its North American office in Chicago. He brings 14 years of consulting and business development experience to the role.

Headquartered in Paris, Kepler helps its clients improve performance and efficiency across innovation, procurement, supply chain, and operations. The consultancy primarily serves medium-sized and large companies in the industrial, energy, life sciences, luxury, and distribution sectors. Kepler has 50 employees across offices in Paris, Chennai, Shanghai, and Chicago.

Taking the reins in Chicago, new managing director Jason Mallory will guide overall vision and strategy deployment for the firm’s North America business, while overseeing commercial pursuits within the market.

Mallory joins Kepler from consulting firm Procurement Leaders, where he was director of business development. Before that, he was director of business development at management consultancy RGP and marketing firm BI Worldwide, where he developed and maintained high-level client relationships.

Earlier in his career, Mallory was team lead for the diversified industrial manufacturing segment of market research firm Euromonitor International, and was a business development manager for research and consulting firm Spectrem Group.

He holds a master’s degree in accounting from DePaul University and a BS in finance from Southern Illinois University.

“[Mallory’s] expertise in managing commercial due-diligence, procurement transformation, and strategic sourcing engagements, combined with his high-end business development experience, will help to anchor the business moving forward,” a statement from Kepler said.

In December, the operations consultancy added Nacer Madi as a director in its Paris headquarters. The operations consulting expert joined Kepler from spend management services specialist BravoSolution, having previously run a boutique Lean and Six Sigma advisory firm.
