Accounting, tax, and consulting firm Mazars USA has appointed new heads of both its New Jersey office and its manufacturing and distributing (M&D) practice. As of September 1, Paula Ferreira will act as New Jersey office managing partner. She will succeed Michael Coletti, who will take over as M&D practice leader.

"We are committed to providing leadership that achieves our People, Business and Growth goals,” Victor Wahba, Mazars USA chairman and CEO, said. “Paula’s knowledge of the New Jersey office and market, as well as her people skills, make her well-positioned to lead the office as we continue to expand our presence in the state. And Michael is well-positioned to lead the M&D group, providing added value to clients in an era of economic volatility, while driving growth for our firm.”

Ferreira will serve as both M&D practice leader and head of New Jersey Entrepreneurial Business Services. She carries more than 20 years of experience in areas including tax planning and business consulting. Coletti, meanwhile, has more than 20 years of experience in advisory, audit, accounting, and tax services, especially for organizations in the M&D segment of the consumer products and food and beverage industries.

"Leading the expansion of this practice and being able to contribute to the success of both Mazars USA and Mazars Group is a real honor. Client complexity, needs, and engagement size continue to increase, creating tremendous synergies between these two leadership roles.
