Russell Reynolds Associates adds 11 consultants to US team
Russell Reynolds Associates, a US-headquartered global leadership advisory and executive search firm, has in the past eight months added a raft of new consultants to its offices in the United States.
Gautham Parthasarathy (Atlanta) joined as a consultant in the industrial & natural resources practice. He previously led global product strategy for the sealings system business of Cooper Standard Automotive, and was VP and general manager at Michelman and Emerald Performance Materials.
Sean Dineen (Boston) joined as a member of the leadership & succession practice, focusing on helping organizations increase the performance of their executive teams. He was previously a consultant at leadership advisory firm YSC, where he also headed the Hong Kong office. Before that, he was a consultant in the China operations of HR consultancy Right Management.
Mark Fastabend (Chicago) joined the industrial & natural resource practice, focusing on industrial goods. He was previously a vice president at food prep equipment manufacturer Prince Castle, working on engineering and strategic platforms. Before that, he was an engineering manager at HoMedics and a biomedical engineer at Medical Murray.
Bob Brousseau (Dallas) joined the healthcare practice, where he focuses on the medical devices and diagnostics industries. He was previously general manager and SVP of clinical laboratory testing at Veridia Diagnostics, and before that held senior sales roles at Agendia, Genoptix, Cypress Bioscience, and Versus Pharmaceuticals.
Helena Fyda (Houston) joined as a consultant in the corporate officers practice, working with the C-suite to drive greater effectiveness in the HR function. Fyda previously spent nearly 20 years at BP, where she most recently served as VP of human resources of BP America, overseeing more than 14,000 employees.
Jim Underwood (Los Angeles) joined the consumer practice, working with the C-suite to build and advise leadership teams in the consumer, digital, and media industries. Underwood previously was global head of entertainment strategy at Facebook, where he guided company strategy on working with entertainment advertisers. Before that, he ran Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s digital transaction business, and before that, the studio’s corporate development function.
Elizabeth Fitzpatrick (New York) joined as a consultant in the consumer practice, advising C-suite retail and luxury executives and management teams. She previously served as associate director in investment banking coverage in the retail and consumer practice of UBS. Before that, Fitzpatrick founded and ran My Closet Concierge, an e-commerce clothing storage and logistics business.
David Lange (New York) rejoined the firm as a consultant in the leadership & succession practice, where he leads efforts to bolster its global executive transition and development service capabilities. Lange was previously a senior client partner at Korn Ferry, specializing in immersive development programs, executive transitions, top-team facilitation, and coaching. Before that, he was president at organizational consultancy TMC, and a principal at executive search firm Egon Zehnder.
Ellen Yaffe (New York) joined as a consultant in the financial services team, partnering with financial institutions to grow and cultivate their workforce. Yaffe was previously a partner at executive search firm RAH Partners, where she focused on the wealth and asset management industries. Before that, she was a managing director in strategic resourcing at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management.
Jonathan Gleason (Palo Alto) joined the technology practice, focusing on advising tech and professional services firms on human capital initiatives. Gleason was previously director of practice management and strategy at technology law firm Gunderson Dettmer, building systems to drive partner performance. He previously held senior operational roles in marketing at the firm, and managed its captive venture capital fund.
Rubén Hillar (Washington, DC) joined as a consultant in the leadership & succession practice, focusing on solving leadership and organizational challenges for not-for-profit and private sector clients. Hillar was previously a consultant in the leadership advisory service group of executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles. Before that, he was a knowledge expert in organization design at strategy firm McKinsey & Company.
