FTI Consulting names four managing directors

FTI Consulting has announced the appointment of four managing directors to its forensic accounting and advisory services practice. Ann Marie Wick, Michael Buffardi, Maurice Crescenzi, and David King will serve in the firm’s forensic accounting and advisory services practice, which is in FTI’s forensic and litigation consulting segment.

“Our global team of experts is dedicated to helping organizations prevent, detect, and resolve risks concerning violations of laws and regulations, and departures from standards of conduct and ethical practices,” Brian Ong, co-leader of FTI’s forensic accounting and advisory services practice, said. “The appointment of these four professionals reflects our commitment to enhancing our ability to help companies navigate issues with minimal disruption to their assets, reputation and overall business.”

Wick will be based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is a former senior director of global compliance at Briggs & Stratton and holds a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University. Buffardi will be based in Los Angeles, California. He previously spent nearly seven years at the US Security and Exchange Commission, serving as a senior attorney-advisor. He attended The George Washington University Law School, as well as the CIA’s Sherman Kent School for Intelligence Analysis.

Crescenzi will be based out of New York City. He is a former in-house ethics and compliance officer, and is an adjunct professor at Rutgers University and Montclair State University, from which he holds a master’s degree. King will be based in Houston. He joins FTI from Secretariat International, where he was a managing director. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Lancaster University.
