AArete acquires digital transformation consultancy Third I

Management consultancy AArete has acquired Third I, a Washington-based data analytics and digital transformation consulting firm.

Founded in 2005, Third I delivers consulting services in analytics, data management, big data, custom applications, and UX and visual design. The firm builds solutions from a deep tech stack, including SAP, Microsoft BI, Salesforce, and IBM DataStage.

Third I’s clients have included high-profile organizations such as Netflix, Barnes & Noble, and Blue Cross. The consultancy has offices in Washington, DC and San Francisco, as well as two offices in India.

AArete’s acquisition of Third I strengthens the firm’s capabilities in technology innovation and advanced analytics consulting. Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Chicago, AArete offers advisory services in strategic profitability improvement, supply chain optimization, M&A, and turnarounds. The company also has a strong technology consulting division, with offerings across data analytics, emerging technology, cloud, app development, UX and visual design, and managed services.

AArete has US offices in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, LA, and New York, as well as international locations in London and Hyderabad.

As part of the acquisition, Third I will be folded into the AArete brand. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
