IT consultancy Centrinet acquires Accordant Technology, Inc.
IT, consulting, and managed services firm Centrinet has announced the acquisition of cloud and virtualization services organization Accordant Technology, Inc. Increasing complexity and speed of advances in technology are two of the main drivers of the acquisition, according to Centrinet.
"We are excited to bring on Accordant, and its customers, as we share our vision for adaptive workspaces and cloud solutions that will help our clients be flexible, scalable, and secure," Keith Paschall, Centrinet’s CEO and founder, said.
Centrinet has operated for nearly 20 years in the technology and data center sector, and has 15 years of experience offering cloud services via Centrinet Cloud to small and medium businesses. Centrinet operates nationally and is headquartered in Georgia.
Bringing Accordant’s team on-board will allow the firm to leverage Accordant’s hosting and virtualization expertise, strengthening Centrinet’s IT, hosting, cloud, and managed services offerings.
"This will bring our customers a wider range of solutions to benefit their business as well as provide depth in consulting and managed support services,” Tim Tyler, principal of Accordant Technology, Inc. and now-Centrinet executive, said.
Accordant is based in Tennessee. It provides consulting services across virtualization, application delivery, mobility, and hosting, as well as systems integration and managed services.
The purchase of Accordant is Centrinet’s second major acquisition since 2018. In March of that year, the firm bought Nashville, Tennessee-based Disruptive Technology Inc., an organization which specialized in virtualization solutions. The acquisition saw Disruptive’s president, Shawn Sloan, join Centrinet as the firm’s vice president of technology – a position he held until March 2019.
“As we approach our 20th year of delivering IT solutions to our clients that enable the technology to provide value to the business, we are excited about the next chapter as we enable our client’s cloud strategy and are thrilled to have Shawn join Centrinet to bring his leadership to this evolution,” Paschall said in a statement at the time.
