The HT Group names Sam Wood as director of consulting services

Management consulting, staffing, and recruiting firm The HT Group has named industry veteran Sam Wood as its director of consulting services.

In the role, he will be tasked with expanding the firm’s managed consulting and executive search services, including interim and fractional executives, strategy planning, ERP solutions, cloud strategy, security and cyber defense, financial modeling, and audit and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining The HT Group, Wood worked as a principal consultant at Waterloo Technology Consulting, an Austin-based firm that focuses on business transformations in middle-market companies. He has also served as technology practice leader and virtual chief information officer at Austin-based technology consultancy Bridgepoint Consulting, as well as executive director of information services at Pinnergy. Wood holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering science and a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
