Deallus names Peter Barschdorff vice president
Management consultancy Deallus has announced that Peter Barrchdorff will become the firm’s vice president, heading its consulting business in the US, which has offices in Los Angeles and New York. Deallus was founded in 2004, and counts several of the world’s top 15 pharmaceutical companies among its client base.

Barschdorff joins Deallus from management and technology consultancy Campana & Schott, where he served as a senior advisor for just under half a year. Before that, he worked as GSK’s vice president of commercial insights and chief analytics officer for US pharmaceuticals and vaccines. There, he led 60 US-based employees in areas including business analytics, commercial reporting, forecasting, and market intelligence, as well as the company’s global network of commercial analysts, with the goal of getting medicine to patients more effectively and efficiently.
Additionally, Barschdorff spent four years as a principal consultant at Capgemini Consulting, where a great deal of his work revolved around life science strategy and transformation and the firm’s medical device industry network.
He holds an MBA from Columbia University as well as a PhD in political science from the Freie Universität Berlin, in Germany. He has also completed training courses with both the European Union and NATO.
