L.E.K. Consulting promotes three in US to partner
Global management consultancy L.E.K. Consulting has promoted three US-based partners: Stephen Matthews, Franco Ciulla, and Gavin McGrath. The announcement includes an additional 16 promotions globally, making a total of 19 new partners.
Matthews is based in L.E.K’s Los Angeles Office, working in its technology, media, and entertainment practice. His focus is on issues including strategy development, customer segmentation, diversification, pricing, go-to-market approaches and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a master’s degree in chemistry from the University of Oxford. He has also worked as a special advisor to Buckingham Palace.
Ciulla, who is based out of the firm’s Houston office, is an expert in industries including oil and gas, power transmission and distribution, energy, and environment and sustainability. As such, he works with energy, environmental, and service clients on issues such as M&A, performance improvement, private equity, and transaction support. Before L.E.K., Ciulla served as VP of upstream consulting for the Americas at Wood Mackenzie, where he led the oilfield supply chain practice. He holds a master’s degree in engineering from the Universidad Central de Venezuela and an MBA from The University of Texas at Dallas.
McGrath is based in Boston. He is a specialist in digitalization and digital issues, such as digital products and business models, the “internet of things,” and Industry 4.0. He works with corporate clients and M&A professionals to provide assistance regarding the digital strategies, as well as organizational transformation and transaction support assignments. McGrath has been with L.E.K. for more than a decade. He also has worked with Bose Corporation as a creative coordinator and with The Boston Red Sox as an advertising coordinator. He holds an MBA from Dartmouth and a bachelor’s degree from Boston College.
