Attain hires Naina Leo as managing director

Management, technology, and strategy consulting firm Attain, LLC has announced that Naina Leo, a veteran in federal services, will join the company as a managing director. Based in McLean, Virginia, she will head one of Attain’s civilian practices, as well as serve as a member of the federal leadership team. She will also act as Attain’s federal chief growth officer.

Leo is the current president of the Bethesda chapter of AFCEA, a nonprofit that offers a forum for military, government, and industry can share knowledge and form relationships. Prior to joining Attain, she worked as executive vice president of NetImpact Strategies, a Virginia-based, women-owned IT and management consultancy that works with the federal government. There, she led the firm’s federal civilian business unit.

Before that, Leo served as senior vice president of the civilian practice at Octo Consulting Group. She also worked for nine months at DRT Strategies as senior vice president of solutions, where she was key in establishing an operating model focused on solutions to drive growth, improve client delivery, and employee retainment. Additionally, she served as vice president of consultancy DMI’s (Digital Management, Inc) civilian and health services division.

She began her career as a management consultant at PwC (where she eventually became a director), then moved to IBM Global Business Services as a principal consultant. Leo holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and sociology from the University of Bombay and a bachelor’s degree in international relations, as well as an MBA, from the University of Minnesota.
