Mazars USA welcomes Ranjit Jaswal as leader for governance, risk & compliance

Accounting and consulting firm Mazars USA has welcomed Ranjit Jaswal as principal and national leader of the governance, risk & compliance (GRC) practice. He will be based in New York, and joins the Mazars USA consulting leadership team and the global GRC leadership team.

Jaswal brings 23 years of financial services and Big Four consulting experience to the role. He joins Mazars from EY, where he was a partner in the advisory practice, co-leading the risk, compliance and operational transformation practice across the Northeastern US. In the role, Jaswal supported clients through operating model redesign/implementation, cost optimization, and balancing risk through capital and performance management.

Before that, he was a managing director at PwC, overseeing consulting services for financial services in Hong Kong and SEA – focusing on risk, regulatory, and operational transformation for banks, insurers, and asset managers.

Prior to PwC, Jaswal was a senior vice president in capital management and advisory at insurance giant Swiss Re. Earlier in his career he was a manager at EY and a manager in group risk management at NatWest. Jaswal holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Staffordshire University.
