Mazars opens first Texas office in Dallas
Accounting and consulting firm Mazars has opened its first Texas location with the launch of a Dallas office.
“This is a momentous occasion for our firm,” said Victor Wahba, Mazars USA chairman and CEO. “As we continue to aggressively pursue growth across strategic markets nationally, we have long considered Texas to be an important area for us to have a presence.
“Following the opening of our Los Angeles office in 2019 and the significant expansion of our Chicago location, this demonstrates our ongoing commitment to building out our national capabilities to best serve our clients.”
The Dallas office will be led by Brad Leffler, who joins Mazars from PwC, where he was an audit and assurance partner. Leffler spent the breadth of his 23-year career at PwC, serving clients across a range of industries, including retail, energy, technology, and manufacturing.
“I'm excited to be joining Mazars as they launch their Texas presence," Leffler said. “I'm looking forward to working with the excellent local team we've assembled as well as the deep national resources of the firm. I believe that we will be able to provide a quality option for the market and expect to see the office grow significantly over the coming years.”
The 4,000 square foot Dallas office will be located at 100 Crescent Court, Suite 250.
Headquartered in New York, the US arm of Mazars was formed from accounting and consulting firm Weiser, which joined the international Mazars network as the independent member firm in 2010. The company rebranded to Mazars USA in 2017, and has expanded nationally since then.
The middle-market-focused firm today has over a dozen US offices coast-to-coast, with more than 100 partners and 800+ professionals. The wider Mazars Group has more than 40,000 professionals in 90+ countries.
In FY 2019, Mazars Group had $2 billion in revenues, with its North America region posting 12% revenue growth.
