FTI adds Michele Booth and Sumeet Gupta as senior managing directors

FTI Consulting has welcomed Michele Booth and Sumeet Gupta as senior managing directors in the business transformation practice within the corporate finance & restructuring segment.

Booth is based in Chicago and will join the revenue growth and operations offering, focusing on customer experience (CX) and digital strategy. She brings more than 15 years of management and technology consulting experience, with expertise in CX strategy, revenue growth operations, digital, and organizational transformation.

Booth has particular expertise working with clients in the TMT and retail and consumer products industries.

Booth spent the last year-and-half at Ipsos in North America, where she was head of CX advisory for the US market. Prior to that she split 16 years across Big Three firms EY, PwC, and Deloitte, working on digital transformation projects that integrate CX and UX, commercial policy, operational improvement, and organizational design.

She holds an MBA in finance from DePaul University and a BS in management information systems from the University of Central Florida.

Gupta is based in Dallas and joins the technology transformation offering. He brings two decades of experience helping companies modernize engineering, establish digital teams, and build digital products, experiences, and businesses. Gupta has worked on engagements with high-profile clients such as Sony, Comcast, Kaiser Permanente, and Kraft-Heinz.

Gupta spent the last 15 years at Sapient (now Publicis Sapient), where he was latterly an executive partner and head of the digital transformation business in the upper Midwest. Prior to joining Sapient he co-founded Ideant Consulting, which designed and built internet platforms. Ideant was acquired by Indian bank ICICI in 2005.
