Boston Consulting Group adds over 300 jobs in Atlanta
Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a leading global management consultancy, announced that it will create 331 new jobs in Atlanta, Georgia.
The firm announced an $18 million dollar investment into its Business Services Center, “Nexus,” which is located at 100 Peachtree Street NE.
BCG opened an Atlanta office in 1995, and in 2017 established Nexus, which created 268 new jobs. The Nexus expansion will add nearly 600,000 square feet of space and more than double the office’s workforce.
BCG also owns BrightHouse, an Atlanta-based creative agency the firm acquired in 2015. The current job boom will bring the Boston-based consulting firm’s Metro Atlanta headcount to 900 employees across three offices.
“BCG has more than doubled their roster of employees in Atlanta over the past three years, and their decision to continue investing in the Peach State is a testament to our highly educated pipeline of talent and our pro-business environment,” said Governor Brian Kemp in a press release.
The more than 300 new jobs include positions in administrative services, human resources, finance, information technology, operations, and design.
“BCG has been proud to be part of the fabric of the Atlanta community since 1995,” said Rodrigo Garcia-Escudero, BCG partner and Atlanta office leader. “We are eager to play our part in helping Atlanta to continue to thrive and be a leading location for business in the post-Covid reality.”
Founded in 1963, BCG is one of the three most prestigious global management consulting firms, alongside rivals McKinsey & Company and Bain & Company. The firm offers a full suite of business consulting services, from strategy and operations through to digital transformation and people strategy.
The consulting firm has 21,000 employees across 50+ countries, with annual revenue of $8.5 billion.
