Ravin Jesuthasan joins Mercer as global head of transformation services
Ravin Jesuthasan, an experienced human resources consulting executive, has joined Mercer as its global leader for transformation services.
Based in Chicago, Jesuthasan will oversee the HR consultancy’s Transformation Center of Excellence, which advises clients on HR model redesign; IT strategy and implementation; and change management planning, implementation, communication, and training. He will report to Ilya Bonic, president of Mercer’s career business and head of strategy.
Jesuthasan brings nearly 30 years of HR consulting experience to Mercer. He spent the last 26-and-a-half years at HR consultancy Willis Towers Watson/Towers Watson/Towers Perrin, holding numerous senior roles. He most recently served as global leader of Willis Towers Watson’s talent and rewards practice.
During his career, Jesuthasan has led numerous large-scale, global restructuring and transformation engagements for multinational firms in a range of industries, including tech, financial services, retail and consumer goods, life sciences, energy, and aviation.“Across the world, we see organizations building on their learnings from Covid-19 and focusing on their future success and sustainability,” Bonic said. “Ravin’s breadth of experience will further help us advise clients as they change many aspects of their operating model and accelerate the re-skilling and organization of all aspects of their workforce.
Jesuthasan is a noted expert in the areas of human capital, automation, and the future of work. He has authored more than 150 articles and is frequently featured and quoted in numerous prominent publications. He is also a regular presenter at the World Economic Forum’s annual meetings, and is a member of the forum’s steering committee on work and employment.
Prior to joining Towers Perrin’s Chicago office in 1994, Jesuthasan was a consultant in Accenture’s strategic services practice. He holds an MBA and BBA in finance from Western Michigan University and is a chartered financial analyst.
