IT consultancy SADA Systems named one of the best workplaces in US
Business and technology consultancy SADA Systems was named one of the best workplaces in Inc. Magazine’s 2018 ranking of fast-growing private US firms. The firm was honored for having a top-level workplace culture, strong employee engagement, and excellent benefits.
Los Angeles-based consultancy SADA Systems is a leading provider of business and IT solutions, with particular expertise in cloud transformations. Partnering with Google, Microsoft, and Facebook, SADA supports clients with IT strategy, cloud migration and deployment, app development, managed services, and training.
The firm has worked with a diverse range of global clients, in industries spanning from healthcare to retail to government. In addition to its LA headquarters, SADA Systems has a second office located in Orange County, CA.
The fast-growing technology consultancy was recently named a Best Workplace for 2018 by Inc. Magazine. SADA was recognized for its success in building a workplace with a vibrant culture, strong employee engagement, and excellent benefits. The consulting firm posted one of the highest scores in the ranking for employee engagement, with 74%.
“We’re honored to be named to Inc. magazine’s Best Workplaces once again. Culture isn’t something you put in a manual or preach to employees in meetings,” commented SADA Systems President and CEO Tony Safoian. “It’s about how you treat people – employees, vendors, customers, partners and guests alike. The core foundation of SADA is family, with emphasis on mutual respect, trust, kindness and unity. That’s the mentality I have as president of this company, and culture is a top down phenomenon.”
The recognition follows on the heels of SADA being named one of Business Intelligence Group’s 2018 Best Places to Work. One of 28 companies honored for helping their employees accelerate their careers, knowledge, and performance, SADA was selected in the category of medium-sized businesses.
The Inc. Magazine ranking was based on an analysis of workplace benefits, as well as employee responses to a 30-question survey. Firms had to have a minimum of 10 employees, and had to be US-based, privately held, and independent (i.e. not a subsidiary).
In line with business research in the area of human capital, the survey results showed that employees want to feel valued by their firm, and that a feeling of ‘being valued’ centrally drives employee engagement. The survey also found that strong company culture leads to better individual and team performance.
Inc. Magazine Best Workplace organizations were found to have strong and comprehensive benefits packages. SADA Systems is no slouch in the benefits category, providing its employees with unlimited paid time-off (PTO), 401K matching, profit sharing, professional development, as well as a raft of insurance, disability, and assistance programs.
“Our hats are off to the winners,” said Inc. Editor-in-Chief James Ledbetter. “They all excelled at engaging their workers, making them feel appreciated, and aligning them behind a mission. And remember, that’s not just our opinion: The employees told us that themselves.”
In other recent awards news, consultancies Deloitte, KPMG, and TCS were named to Points of Light’s 2018 Civic 50 – which recognizes America’s leading community-minded firms at the forefront of corporate citizenship.
