SingerLewak expands into Oregon with acquisition of Boldt Carlisle + Smith

SingerLewak, a California-based accounting and consulting firm, has acquired Boldt Carlisle + Smith, an Oregon-based full-service CPA firm.

Founded in 1968, Boldt Carlisle + Smith (BCS) provides services in governmental and commercial audits, small business accounting, taxes, and computer support. The mid-market firm also advises on mergers and acquisitions, business liquidations, and sales.

BCS has more than 40 professionals across offices in Salem, Albany, and Stayton, Oregon.

SingerLewak’s acquisition of the firm will expand its presence into Oregon. The Los Angeles-headquartered firm has six California offices, as well as locations in Las Vegas, Denver, and Atlanta.

BCS will remain at its offices in Oregon, and will become “Boldt Carlisle Smith, a Division of SingerLewak, LLP.” The firm’s owners Brad Bingenheimer, Jennifer Darst, Kevin Gienger, Jeffrey Kennard, Heather McGowan, Skip Neill, and Douglas Parham will become partners at SingerLewak. Gienger will serve as lead partner for Oregon operations.
