Infostretch, a Santa Clara, CA-based provider of digital engineering services, has acquired Saggezza, a Chicago-based IT consulting firm.

Founded in 2006, Saggezza delivers consulting and managed services in software design, enterprise automation, and customer relationship management to large and mid-market clients. The firm recently launched a Salesforce implementation practice to help clients optimize their CRM investments.

Saggezza has grown rapidly in the last 15 years, and today boasts more than 500 employees across Chicago, Silicon Valley, London and Sunderland, UK, and Chennai and Bangalore, India. The firm was named an Inc. 5000 fastest-growing company in 2020.

Infostretch’s acquisition of Saggezza will add expertise in software design and implementation, as well as deepen its client rosters in financial services, insurance, and healthcare. It will also expand its presence into the US Midwest.

The transaction, for which financial details were not disclosed, is Infostretch’s first acquisition since it received private equity investment from Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking and Everstone in August 2020.

“Saggezza’s deep expertise in software design and implementation is a perfect complement to our digital engineering and data analytics capabilities,” said Rutesh Shah, Infostretch CEO. “With the addition of their CRM capabilities, we see an opportunity to quickly grow our footprint in our existing client base and leverage those expanded capabilities to win new business. This combination is a positive development for the clients of both companies, which include several Fortune 500 clients.”

Saggezza will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Infostretch, and its executives will join the leadership team of the acquiring firm. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter.

“By joining forces with Infostretch, we can expand upon our suite of transformative, advisory, and execution services to keep our current and prospective clients at the forefront of the digital frontier,” Arvind Kapur, CEO of Saggezza, said.
