Frontline Managed Services buys legal IT consultancy Logicforce

Frontline Managed Services, an Atlanta-based provider of outsourcing solutions to the legal industry, has acquired Logicforce, a Nashville-based legal IT consulting firm.

Founded in 1995, Logicforce helps law firms improve their internal operations via technology, with offerings in IT optimization, e-discovery, document review, cybersecurity, and digital forensics. The firm’s technology partners include iManage, Cellebrite, and Nuix.

Logicforce also offer its proprietary Synthesis E-IT Secure service, which assesses law firm technology and business goals to help clients create an actionable blueprint for improved profitability.

Frontline’s acquisition of Logicforce will add 50 professionals to its IT managed services team, and will bring the firm’s total headcount to more than 750 people. The move will also add more than 100 new law firm clients to Frontline’s roster, which includes over 40% of the AmLaw 200 and hundreds of mid-sized firms.“As we continue to deliver on our promise to stay out in front for our 800 plus clients in the legal market, we are excited to once again expand our presence with the integration of another forward-looking leader in legal tech as LOGICFORCE," said Seelin Naidoo, CEO of Frontline Managed Services.

Frontline in July 2021 bolted on Glasser Tech, a full-service IT provider, as well as InvoicePrep, a law firm e-billing provider.

Zade and Bret Babcock, CFO & COO of Logicforce, will join Frontline’s management team. Logicforce’s advisor on the transaction was investment bank Jegi Clarity.

Frontline was founded in 1998 and is one of the world’s largest providers of managed services to the legal industry, with offerings in administrative, financial, and IT managed services. The firm has seven offices in the US, as well as international locations in Toronto, London, and Hyderabad and Pune, India.
