Exadel, a San Francisco Bay Area software engineering firm, has acquired Coppei, a Seattle-based digital business strategy and technology consulting firm.

Founded in 2001, Coppei helps its clients build data-centric digital business solutions to outpace their competition. The firm’s specialties include data & insights, project delivery & transformation consulting, and SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform implementation.

Coppei has supported major companies including Starbucks, Microsoft, Bayer, and HBO. The firm has more than 90 employees, according to LinkedIn.

Exadel’s acquisition of Coppei’s complementary capabilities in strategic digital consulting will allow the firm to offer full lifecycle software engineering services – from strategy to platform and product development. Coppei will continue to operate as an independent brand.
