John Cala joins PA Consulting as Americas leader
John Cala, a seasoned strategy consulting leader, has joined PA Consulting as head of its Americas region.
Cala brings more than 25 years of consulting industry experience to the role, where he will focus on growing PA Consulting’s US business and driving results for clients.
He has deep expertise leading consulting engagements in profit improvement, revenue growth, and organizational change, with a focus on technology and industrial clients. Cala also has experience in consulting industry account management, leading several large global client accounts.
He joins PA from IBM, where he spent 15 years and latterly served as a senior partner in the enterprise strategy practice. Before that, Cala was managing director of IBM's integrated account relationships with Philips and Lenovo, overseeing worldwide sales teams and ensuring quality of service delivery.
Before joining IBM, Cala was a partner at PwC, where he led the Western region strategy practice and high-tech industry group.
He holds an MBA from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Occidental College.
