Sia Partners acquires Philadelphia-based PPT Consulting
Sia Partners, a Paris-headquartered management and technology consulting firm, has expanded its US operations with the acquisition of PPT Consulting, a Philadelphia-based management and technology consultancy.
PPT was founded in 2003 and provides consulting services in project and program management, business and process transformation, and organizational change management. The firm’s offerings include project management office establishment and optimization, business and IT strategic planning, technology selection, IT service management, shared services transformation, change management strategy and execution, and organizational design.
PPT has worked with small businesses and Fortune 500s in the manufacturing, chemical, energy, communications, and healthcare and life sciences industries. The firm has more than 50 consultants in the Philadelphia area.
Sia Partners’ acquisition of PPT will expand the firm’s presence into Philadelphia and strengthen its East Coast region, which has offices in New York, Baltimore, Chicago, Charlotte, and Atlanta. The deal will also bolster Sia’s industry expertise in healthcare and life sciences, communications, manufacturing, and chemicals.
The deal will bring Sia’s US team to more than 570 consultants and $127 million in revenue.
“Following the acquisition of Ethier in Canada and Summus in the US, we continue our development in the North American consulting market with the acquisition of PPT Consulting,” said Matthieu Courtecuisse, founder and CEO of Sia Partners. “We are now operating in eleven locations in the US and are in line with our plan to expand to 15 locations by 2023.”
As part of the transaction, PPT founder Kathleen Bellwoar will joins Sia’s US management team and will lead the Philadelphia office. She will report to Dan Connor, CEO of Sia Partners US.
“This combination of two pure consulting players is a natural one, as PPT Consulting’s client portfolio and team expertise seamlessly complement Sia Partners’ existing capabilities in the US,” said Bellwoar. “Being part of the group represents an amazing opportunity for us to expand our service offerings to our clients and enables us to support them both domestically and globally.”
