L.E.K. Consulting hires Rustin Richburg as chief talent officer
L.E.K. Consulting has welcomed Rustin Richburg as partner and global chief talent officer.
Richburg brings more than 20 years of experience in business and talent strategy, culture and inclusion, executive development, business partnerships and talent acquisition. Based in New York, he will oversee the management consultancy’s global people and talent strategy and programs.
Richburg most recently served as chief people officer of Bark, a direct-to-consumer dog product subscription business, where he was responsible for talent, human resources, corporate communications, real estate, and employee-facing IT.
Before that, he led HR teams at Walton Enterprise and the Walton Family Foundation. Richburg also previously held senior HR leadership positions at Walmart and Imperial Brands.
Earlier in his career, Richburg spent 13 years at Accenture, where he was latterly a managing director leading HR transformation engagements for large corporate clients.
Richburg is on the board of directors for Out & Equal, a non-profit organization focusing on LGBT+ equality in the workplace. He holds a bachelor's degree in agribusiness from Texas A&M University

L.E.K. earlier this year promoted 17 people to partner in its US operations, which span offices in Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco.
