Technology consultancy Clarity Insights adds three new leaders

Data and analytics-focused consulting firm Clarity Insights has added three highly skilled professionals to their leadership team. Paul Sinclair and George Gardner-Serra will join the firm’s Healthcare practice as Partners, while Debbie Callahan will re-join the firm as Chief Sales Officer.

Clarity Insights is the largest US onshore consulting firm focused on data, analytics, and insights. The firm supports clients with data strategy, engineering, science, and visualization to help identify opportunities and solve problems. Founded in 2008, Clarity Insights has worked with Fortune 500 clients across financial services, insurance, retail, and healthcare, among other industries. The consultancy partners with numerous leading tech firms, and is a Microsoft Gold Partner, an Amazon Web Services Advanced Consulting Partner, and an SAP Silver Partner.

The firm recently announced the appointment of three new leaders, including two healthcare practice leaders, as well as a chief sales officer. The Chicago-based company makes the appointments amid continued growth, as the firm’s digital and data services are in accelerated demand.

Paul Sinclair will join Clarity Insights’ Healthcare practice as a Partner. The seasoned consultant brings more than three decades of experience in operations, business development, and service delivery to the practice – which helps payers and providers leverage data analytics for higher quality care and cost savings.

Before joining Clarity, Sinclair was Managing Director of Healthcare Advisory Services at KPMG US for four years. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Professional Services at Allscripts, and COO at Prognosis Health Information Systems. Before that, Sinclair was CEO of technology consultancy Ingenix Consulting.

He has a MS in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of South Florida. Gardner-Serra will leverage his experience working with healthcare organizations, while also bringing in best practices in emerging technologies from Industry 4.0.

Before joining Clarity, he was the Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Commercial Officer of a Silicon Valley healthcare startup. Prior to that, he was Regional Vice President, Healthcare Strategy & Innovation at consultancy North Highland from 2015 to 2017. While there he led the US West Region’s Healthcare Strategy & Innovation practice to a 25% increase in top line revenue and territory.

From 2014 to 2015 he was a Futurist at KPMG US, analyzing disruptors to the healthcare industry like AI, Big Data, blockchain, etc. Before that, Gardner-Serra was a Healthcare Executive at the Stategy and Innovation practice of Accenture US. He has also served as Senior Director, Strategy at Blue Shield of California, Venture Manager at Kaiser Permanente, and Client Partner/VP at Razorfish.

Gardner-Serra holds an MBA from NYU, and a BA in Architecture and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He is based out of San Francisco.

Debbie Callahan will join Clarity Insights as Chief Sales Officer. Bringing more than 30 years of experience in data and analytics consultative sales, marketing, and recruiting, Callahan will lead the consultancy’s customer-centric approach to client services. Previously, Callahan was a Managing Director at digital transformation firm Maven Wave Partners. Before that she was a Client Principal at Clarity Insights from 2010-2017. Prior to that, Callahan was a Client Principal at Hewlett Packard. She also held leadership positions in Business Development at Knightsbridge Solutions (which was acquired by HP), Perficient, and James Martin & Co.

Callahan holds a Master’s in Organizational Behaviour from Benedictine University and a BS in Marketing from Illinois State University. She will be based out of Clarity Insights’ Chicago office.
