Levi, Ray & Shoup acquires Fulcrum Consulting
Levi, Ray & Shoup Inc. (LRS), a Springfield, IL-headquartered technology consulting firm, has acquired Fulcrum Consulting, a Minneapolis-based IT staffing and consulting firm.
Founded in 2002, Fulcrum provides business advisory, project management, and IT staffing services to clients in the Twin Cities market. The firm’s advisory services include strategy, operations, M&A, workforce, risk, and financial consulting. Fulcrum also provides nearshore development services to its clients.
The consultancy has more than 50 employees, according to LinkedIn.
LRS’ acquisition of Fulcrum will give the firm a presence in Minneapolis and increase its global headcount to more than 1,000 people.
Fulcrum will become a subsidiary and operate as a branch of LRS Consulting Services, the IT and engineering staging division of LRS.

LRS was founded in 1979 as a small IT firm focusing on output and print management solutions. Since then, the firm has expanded into web and custom app development, digital marketing, pension administration software, home security systems, yacht repairs, and IT implementation, staffing, and training.
LRS has 10 offices in the US and a further nine locations in Europe and Asia-Pacific.
"Fulcrum's location in central Minnesota helps us achieve our growth goals in a new location," Walters said. "We are also acquiring an experienced IT staffing group that manages an established client base."
